Youth Leaders Inspired at Retreat

A successful youth and children's ministry often begins with well-trained staff. For this reason, over 60 Chesapeake Conference local church leaders recently came together for the Coordinator's Retreat to learn, plan and fellowship on the grounds of Mt. Aetna Retreat Center in Hagerstown, Md. Sessions equipped attendees to develop a mission for ministry, grow a successful leadership mindset, pursue living a balanced life, and forge a deeper connection with the community. Additionally, breakout sessions enabled leaders to evaluate their group/club purpose and form a renewed plan to best minister to the needs of children and youth.
