Awards Day Draws Hundreds of Adventurers

Nearly 20 Adventurer clubs from around the Chesapeake Conference converged at Ellicott City (Md.) church for Adventurer Awards Day earlier this month, drawing 350 attendees. Adventurers spent the day earning awards as they attended classes on puppets, carpentry, recycling and more. Each presented topic contained an interwoven spiritual component in the lesson. Fourth graders also had the opportunity to earn the Soap Honor as a Pathfinder-level achievement, as well as learn basic drilling and marching skills.
